Suggestions for a weathered or antiqued gray look

My wife and I want to re-finish the kitchen cabinets. Originally we decided on Oyster paint for everything. Now we're not sure if we want it to be plain grey, and thought a weathered or antiqued look might be better. We have birch cabinets with a saddle brown finish. We need some ideas or suggestions. Hoping someone else out there has done this before and has some helpful info!
