I used the HT Deglosser to prep the door, then I primed and painted with Behr Butter Nut (flat). I did two coats of Walnut gel stain. The wiping was really hard to do consistently throughout. I used a chip brush. Second coat went on differently, given it more of a wood look but the trade off was a darker color than I wanted. I'm not sure I like it, but I'm satisfied. It looks better than it did before. I was considering Camel and Tobacco. I might try taking off some stain with Mineral Spirit and adding a lighter stain.

I just need to pain the window frames Satin Black to match the trim. I'm also going to frost paint the windows to match my front door.
