Grandma's Chest

This chest was passed down to my younger sister from our grandmother (our mother's mother). Our aunt painted it an ugly color and didn't do a good job. My sister wanted a change. The chest is approximately 40 years old. I used Cashmere on the drawers, base and Iron Gate on the top. I then applied Polyurethane (Oil based) to the top. My sister wanted shiny to the max. The hardware is brass. I got Brasco and shinned them up. What a difference! She loves it.
