Buffet Transformation

I got tired of all of the dark wood in my home and wanted to brighten things up. So I sanded this baby down because it was a bit beaten up. This buffet is over 20 years old and lived through a lot. I then cleaned it up with the deglosser, wiped it down with a wet rag and started painting using the brush and sponge/stipple technique recommended. I tried the brush and roll method but preferred the sponging/stipple technique better. The finished look is amazing and makes me smile every time I see it! I let it cure for a week and will topcoat it with polycrylic for extra protection because my kids and dogs are rough in the furniture. Look at this beauty now! I loved how this color turned out so much, I decided to paint my entertainment center the same color. You can see int in the background on one of the pictures. But im still working on that one because it’ll need another coat or two.
