I never really liked my dark oak cabinets but I hated to paint over real oak wood. Why did I wait over 20 years? I love how bright my kitchen is now. I used Colosseum on cabinets and Oyster on the island. I ran short on paint and had to order a third quart to finish 2nd coat on inside of the doors. Paint was so easy to apply. Love it!
