I contemplated for so long, my cabinets are good quality oak but has this greenish blue stain that is cool but could sometimes look outdated. There was also way too much movement for the eye between my beautiful granite and the greenish stained wood grain. I couldn’t find the perfect color to match so I experimented mixing colors. In the end, mixing almost equal parts Crete with London (a little more than Crete) gave me the most beautiful shade of blue green, I am in love!!! You can see just how pretty the granite is now and the more and more I look at it I may just leave the uppers in its original state. I feel like now the old green/blue stain makes sense! I only worry about being able to make the mix again should I ever need to touch up. I have about an 18oz jar of this mix left, need to check the shelf life of the paint but for now I think I’ll be good :)
