I decided to take the plunge and paint my kitchen cabinets in putty. It's whiter than I thought, but with my black countertops it's going to look great. I just started but wanted to share that this paint is amazing! What you're seeing is only one coat so far, covering that dark wood. Definitely needs two coats but that first coat covers beautifully. We decided to take the drawers out and the doors off the hinges, after I struggled to paint around it. Much easier. Also, you don't need to buy new hinges. We are just going to spray paint them black and put them back on.
I'll post more photos when completed. It's probably going to take quite a few weekends, as I'm only doing a few cabinets per weekend, and I'm not as young as I used to be. LOL

One coat of Putty

This photo is to show what we are painting over. The top cabinets, obviously have not been painted yet but look how well one coat of paint covers that dark wood!
