Magnificent Medallion

I found this ceiling medallion at a yard sale for a few bucks. The base coat is Boots w/oyster dabbed over it. The turquoise color is a color club color, the salmon/coral color is a mix of color club colors also. I used a medium/small brush to paint it. I went back w/brown antiquing gel at the base of the leafs then used champagne gel on them to give them a beautiful sheen! I trimmed out the edges w/the gold gel and touched the edges of the leafs also. It took several coats and different techniques to get the look I desired. I LOVE it! I am going to use it with a ceiling fan on my front porch!
