The stain was wearing off the cabinets and they were looking tired and worn out. The cabinets were updated in the early 1990’s with oak doors and laminated wood veneers on the trim and sides of the cabinets.
It’s a small cottage style kitchen and I picked the color London to update the cabinets.
We had to use wood filler on the laminate to even out the chipped corners and the veneer really soaked up the paint. I did 3 coats to get full coverage.
Still working on a herringbone marble backsplash and updating the wall colors to a pale grey or white.
