Paint

I am a first time user, and will be starting on my first product very soon! I’m redoing an old dresser of mine that’s real wood. I plan to use Capri All-in-One paint and do a black antiquing gel. Then I’ll be adding sunflower decals and new black crystal knobs and handles. I needed to know if I added the decals before or after the antiquing gel? Something I seen had before. I was also wondering if anyone had any pieces of furniture or anything in general that they’ve done in Capri, and even better if it’s been done with Capri and the black antiquing gel!! I’m just curious if this is the right combination I’m looking for, and it’s hard to know for sure without seeing other completed pieces. I was so unsure of the color and it was between Capri and Amalfi. Also, if anyone has any suggestions and tips for a first time user of the antiquing gel, please let me know because I’m nervous about using it. Thanks in advance for reading and your help!
