Painting faux leather/vinyl

We recently purchased camper that I am renovating and it has a couch/bed that is new but I don’t like the brown color. Underneath it has a pull out storage drawer that is original with the camper. The place we bought the camper from just put in a new sofa and left the drawer. The drawer is peeling pretty bad now…the whole reason the new sofa was installed.
I would like to try and paint but I’m a little scared. I’ve recently come across this paint and everything about it looks awesome! Does anyone have any suggestions? Do you think that will work ok? I’m uploading a picture of the sofa to give you an idea.
