Design help needed, please.

We bought a home we love in the North Georgia Mountains. The house is a deep taupe with black shutters. The only thing I dislike is this concrete walkway leading from the drive way to the front door. It appears to be concrete formed in brick shape and then painted an unnatural red. My first thought was to paint it black but everyone says NO! What would you do with this eyesore?? All ideas appreciated.
