Cleaning cabinets after painting

I painted my kitchen cabinets, and they looked nice. However, cleaning spots and finger prints is a problem. There are streaks and changes in the paint’s sheen. I have to repaint! I used microfiber and a mild cleaner. (First vinegar water and then Dawn when that didn’t work.)
