Painting Shudders

My exterior shutters appear to have a few coats of paint--guessing a semi-gloss--and are crackled from painting over chipped paint. I honestly don't mind the chipped look, as no one really sees the shutters as close up as the picture I've included, but I would like to paint them a color other than white and wondering if this all-in-one paint will stick to previous paint.
