First, I want to say that “Heirloom Traditions Paint” (HTP) has got to be one of my best finds! I started this huge project with the HTP Deglosser and using a Scotts green scrubbing pad, while concentrating on the handle area (hardware was removed of course.) I had to use wood filler in some areas, as well as sand a few rough edges. Then I used the HTP color Abbey to paint two coats on the cabinets while using the brush and roll technique. I chose to leave the doors on and painted around the inside hinges, as well as any narrow areas with various sized craft brushes. I love how fast this paint dries and the fact that it has a built-in sealer. Lastly, I installed all new hardware and Voila!!! I am now in love with my kitchen.
Completed Project. Boy was it worth it.
