These two stools have been in my family for over 40 yrs. Only thing I can recall done to them was some wood glue to put them back together in places.
I began with the surface prep deglosser and a green scrubby. I followed that with Iron Gate (3 coats) and applied that with the oval brush and finished with the true applicator sponge, using the stippling method.
The stools turned out great!
