After being quoted $7000 just to replace and do our island in our kitchen, I decided to take things into my own hands. After researching I found all in one paint and jump into the Facebook group I was so inspired by what I saw.
Since we had already painted our builder grade cabinets, I wanted to start on the island.
Ordered the brown fantasy granite kit right away along with some others colors I wanted to use on the Formica island. My husband had already put faux brick on the outside of the base. All it needed now was the top.
My first attempt was a fail! But I remember Paula saying … it’s just paint!! So I watched more videos on their YouTube and learned some techniques. This time, it came out great!
So after a few months I was ready to tackle the rest of the kitchen after trying ti decide what to do with the backsplash that was actually part of the countertop.
I saw the faux brick technique and knew I could do that! So in one afternoon, I completed not only the entire backsplash but also the countertops. Did the seal and could not be happier!
Even decided to pain over our cabinets with the All in one paint that we had!
Colors used were coliseum, cobblestone, cathedral, and then used white wash and oil rubbed antiquing gel on a faux paw.
So extremely happy with the way it came out! Already painted my guest bathroom in London!
Thank you for these great products!!
