Painting kitchen countertops

Hello! Wondering if there is a tutorial video or even detailed instructions somewhere for doing the calacutta Verde countertops? Wanting to try these out at my daughter in laws house on her ugly Formica counters. Also any pics or tips from anyone who has done rhe calacutta Verde ones specifically. Thanks for any feedback you all have.
