Solid maple hutch. First I removed all hardware and doors . Used a deglosser over the entire surface. I wanted the gel stain dark so I brushed it on fairly thick and went over it with a roller very lightly. Once dry I went in with a chip brush and made brush strokes and darkened it up a bit more. Once it was dry I taped off what I wanted green and used this gorgeous envy. This hutch was my grandmother's and I am so happy with how it turned out.
