Decorators out there please?? Colors to paint furniture against dark panelling?

Hi, live in rent house, not allowed to paint panelling. It’s a living room, two small high windows. I don’t have nice furniture, just a bunch of mismatched things. What colors to paint furniture that looks ok with dark panelling and tie room together?
